The Scene
With 3,580 vertical feet of winter terrain, Timberline offers the most vertical feet of skiing in the Pacific Northwest. Averaging between 500 and 600 inches of snowfall per season, the mountain also keeps the lifts running for 261 scheduled days of winter riding, 90 days of riding in the summer. The Wy'East Day Lodge offers full facilities including food service, lounge, rental shop, ski school, lockers, gift shop, skier services and complimentary Ski Keep.
The Slopes
The only true year-round resort, Timberline attracts not only casual riders, but also pros who want to train for everything: freestyle, racing, free riding. Thanks to the Palmer chairlift, which was upgraded, skiers have access to 300 acres situated between 7,500 and 8,500 feet in elevation--not to mention some of the most scenic views in Oregon.

I've always enjoyed this resort, even whilst I had a pass to Meadows. I find the lodge to be quite comfortable and inviting as opposed to most resorts. The runs arent very challenging though for skiers, but for snowboarders it's great. Their terrain parks are excellent, and their prices are quite reasonable. The staff have always been kind and courteous in my experience. I'd say that it's a good value for a great mountain.
Pros: Not Crowded, Good Value, Great Terrain Park
Cons: Not enough, challenging, runs
